Ascendio is an upcoming Minecraft server featuring Magical England, Scotland and Wales set in the year 1700. Our map expands over a 16,000 x 10,000 area making for an epic open world adventure. Our unique server features a rich storyline that is based in an entire new time period that has never been experienced by another Harry Potter server before. Ascendio is set before the start Azkaban Prison, Hogwarts Express, Plumbing, Ministry of Magic, and the unforgivable curses being made illegal. A lot changed between 1700 and 2019 and this is your chance to experience first hand Hogwarts an entire different light. No nonsense dark vs light wars. No evil dark wizard trying to overthrow the realm. The Year 1700 was a fairly remarkable peaceful time (or so it seems) among the Wizard World.

In the Year 1700 there was a lot less regulation on small details. The statute of secrecy was only recently passed so common place were people breaking this law. Brooms take a whole new light in the year 1700 with it being the absolute main source of transportation. Walking, Running, Floo Powder and other forms of transportation will be there for everyone but nothing really says stereotypical 1700 witchcraft than a long journey to your friends house on a broomstick. Ascendio believes everyone deserves to own their own broomstick.
